Diego Simeone

Diego Pablo Simeone (født 1970) er en argentinsk fotballtrener of tidligere fotballspiller som er hovedtrener for den spanske klubben Atlético Madrid.

Han spilte som defensiv midtbane for en rekke europeiske og argentinske klubber gjennom sin karriere. Han spilte også ved flere tilfeller for det argentinske herrelandslaget, og er med sine 106 kamper en av de med flest landskamper for hjemlandet. Etter at hans aktive karriere tok slutt i 2006 gikk Simeone inn i treneryrket, først i hjemlandet og senere i Europa. Han er hovedtrener for Atlético Madrid siden 2012.

Hans sønn Giovanni Simeone spiller for den italienske klubben Napoli.
