Łukasz Marek Fabiański (født 1985) er en polsk fotballspiller som spiller for den engelske klubben West Ham United FC. Fabiański har spilt landskamper for Polen og var tidligere fast på det polske U21 landslaget.
Fabiański skrev under for Arsenal den 26. mai 2007 etter å ha blitt kjøpt fra polske Legia Warszawa. Fabiański vant Ekstraklasa (den øverste polske fotballserien) med Legia Warszawa og hans prestasjoner der skaffet han en plass i landslagstroppen til Polen under VM i fotball 2006 i Tyskland. Fabiański ble også stemt frem til den beste keeperen i Ekstraklasa i både 2006 og 2007.

John C. Whitehead, who was named yesterday to the No. 2 post in the State Department, will step into a major foreign policy post with much more experience in the business world than international affairs. But his background is consistent with the prior business orientation of Secretary of State George P. Shultz. Mr. Whitehead, who is 63 years old, is to succeed Kenneth W. Dam as Deputy Secretary of State. If confirmed by the Senate, he would move to Washington after spending his entire working life at Goldman, Sachs & Company, a leading Wall Street investment bank that sells securities and arranges mergers for some of the country's biggest corporations.

Members of the American Society of Newspaper Editors have elected Robert P. Clark president for 1985-86. He is vice president for news for Harte- Hanks Newspapers in San Antonio, Tex. Three other officers were also elected at the editors' meeting in Washington last week: Michael G.
