Hal David

Andre kjente sanger David skrev teksten til er blant annet «Do You Know the Way to San José», «What Do You Get When You Fall in Love?» og «I Say a Little Prayer».

I 2011 ble David og Bacharach sammen tildelt Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song for deres livslange bidrag til populærmusikken.
