Ivana Miličević

Ivana Miličević (født 26. april 1974 i Sarajevo i Bosnia i daværende Jugoslavia) er en bosnisk skuespillerinne av kroatisk avstamning.

Hun var datter av Damir, en entreprenør, og Tonka Miličević. Hun har to brødre Tomo Miličević og Fillip Miličević. Da hun var fem år (i 1983) emigrerte hun til USA sammen med familien og vokste opp i Detroit og i Troy i Michigan. Hun tok sin endelige eksamen i 1992 ved Troy Athens High School i Troy.

Etter at hun hadde fullført utdannelsen begynte Ivana Miličević med skuespill og drama. Hun hadde sin filmdebut med en liten rolle i filmen Jerry Maguire.

Hun hadde en rekke gjesteopptredener i TV-serier som Charmed, Seinfeld, Felicity, Nash Bridges, The Nanny, Buzzkill, Buffy, vampyrenes skrekk, Yes, Dear and Venner for livet. Hun hadde også en fast rolle i serien The Mind of the Married Man.

I 2006 fikk hun en sentral rolle i serien Love Monkey som Julia.

Hun var også med i filmene Just Like Heaven og Paycheck. Hun spilte rollen som Roxanne i Head over Heals (2001), Stacey i Love Actually (2003), Maya i Paycheck (2003), Erika Helios i Frankenstein (2004), Caroline i In Her Shoes (2005), Katrina i Just Like Heaven (2005), Mila Yugorsky i Running Scared, Valenka i Casino Royale (2006) og Madeleine i Witless Protection (2008).

Hun spiller også rollen som sovjetkommandøren Dasha Fedorovich i spillet Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

Hun bor i Los Angeles i California.

Buzhardt Asserts He Opposed Criminal Action in Spying Case

Pres Nixon's counsel J Fred Buzhardt Jr, formerly Pentagon gen counsel, told Sen Armed Services Com in testimony taken Mar 7 that he had recommended against any criminal prosecution in mil spying incident involving White House and Pentagon in late '71; Buzhardt said he had urged then-Defense Sec M R Laird not to seek charges either against Yeoman 1/C Charles E Radford, clerk then assigned to White House who was suspected of leaking highly classified documents to columnist Jack Anderson, or against Rear Adm Robert O Welander, named by Radford in subsequent interrogation as participant in funneling of Natl Security Council documents from office of Henry A Kissinger to Pentagon; Buzhardt explained that he was against Radford's prosecution because of fears that Govt's case could not be won; minimizes case against Welander; suggests Joint Cs/S Chmn Adm Thomas H Moorer had no basis for knowing that any of materials he recd had been provided illegally (M)
