William John Charles (1931–2004) var en walisisk fotballspiller, kjent som spiller for Leeds United AFC og Juventus på 1950- og 1960-tallet. Mange mener han var en av de beste spillerne noensinne fra Storbritannia. Hans favorittposisjon på banen var spiss, men han kunne brukes nær sagt hvor som helst. Han ble innvalgt i English Football Hall of Fame i 2002.
