Saul Zaentz

Saul Zaentz (født 28. februar 1921 i Passaic i New Jersey, død 3. januar 2014 i San Francisco) var en amerikansk filmprodusent og tidligere eier av plateselskapet Fantasy Records. Han har vunnet Oscar for beste film tre ganger, og fikk Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award i 1996. Hans største suksess som eier av Fantasy Records var rockebandet Creedence Clearwater Revival, som han også fungerte som manager og produsent for. I 2004 solgte han Fantasy Records, som kort tid etter ble slått sammen med Concord Records og dannet Concord Music Group.

Zaentz eide filmrettighetene til J.R.R. Tolkiens Hobbiten, og har også flere ganger forsøkt å få i gang filmatisering av denne.
