Boris Floricic (født 8. juni 1972, død mellom 17. og 22. oktober 1998 i Berlin), kjent under pseudonymet «Tron», var en hacker og friker. Han deltok i angrep på kommersielle krypterings- og autentifiseringssystemer som f.eks. betalingsfjernsyn og telefonkort. I 1997 utviklet han en ny teknologi for kryptering av telefonlinjer. Videreutviklingen av systemet «Cryptophon» til «Cryptron», som skulle bli et kommersielt masseprodukt til bruk på internett, ble forhindret av Floricics tidlige død. Årsakene til dødsfallet er fremdeles gjenstand for spekulasjoner. Floricics foreldre har fra 2005 gjennom det tyske rettssystemet forsøkt å forhindre Wikipedia i å nevne Floricics navn, og gjennom en klage oppnådde de at en domstol 17. januar 2006 avsa en midlertidig kjennelse som forbød den tyske Wikimedia-stiftelsen å omdirigere sitt domene wikipedia.de til tysk Wikipedia, som utgis fra Florida USA. Kjennelsen ble opphevet 9. februar, og videre klager ble avvist.

Pentagon papers case defense attys C E Goodell and C Nesson in affidavit requested by Judge W M Byrne Jr say, on June 8, they will call 18 witnesses, including former special assistants to Pres, staff men from White House, Defense Dept and CIA as well as Washington newspaper correspondents, to prove that leaking of classified Govt documents is common practice; affidavit is requested to support defense motion for pretrial hearing on Govt charges against D Ellsberg and A J Russo; defense repts former Govt official who is expert in security matters will testify that classified materials involved in Pentagon case are less sensitive in terms of natl defense relationship than bulk of classified material regularly leaked; former Air Force Deputy Asst for Security and Trade Affairs W G Florence, in attached affidavit, indicates that he will testify to specific instances of leaks; relates instance of security leak concerning satellite information in which Govt made no effort to initiate criminal proceedings; affidavit describes Washington correspondent as saying that Govt regards information of classified nature as 'ammunition to be fired, not as secrets to be guarded'
