Rabbi Mordecai Genn officiated at the Womens Club of White Plains, with the Rev. Gary Seibert, a Roman Catholic priest, taking part in the ceremony. Mrs. Carasso, 28, is a page designer in the news department at The Daily News in New York. She graduated from Indiana University. Her father is an assistant news editor at The New York Times. Her mother is the director of nursing at the Ursuline Sisters' Marian Residence, a nursing home in New Rochelle, N.Y.

John D. Le Vien, 81, Documentary Filmmaker

John D. Le Vien, a documentary film producer nominated for two Oscars, died on Nov. 9 at a hospital in London, where he had lived for the last 30 years. He was 81. Mr. Le Vien was also executive producer of ''Black Fox,'' a 90-minute film about Hitler that was narrated by Marlene Dietrich. It won the Academy Award in 1963 for best documentary. Mr. Le Vien was nominated for Academy Awards as the producer of two documentary features, ''The Finest Hours'' in 1965 and ''A King's Story'' in 1968. Much of his work evolved from his friendships with Churchill and the Duke of Windsor.
